I’ve always been drawn to eyes, and to the way a single look can tell a whole story without a word.

My characters come from a mix of imagination, memory, and things I couldn’t tell you where I picked up. Some are strange, some innocent and fragile, some dark, ironic, or hard to read. Sometimes I look at them and feel they’re keeping secrets even from me.

Somewhere between sound and colour, a world opens up that belongs only to me. I get lost in it and find myself there, both at once. Time dissolves, borders disappear, and reality pops like a soap bubble.

It all becomes a kind of meditation, a drifting through a space with no outlines.

Music and painting have always been two ways of building the same world.

Every time I go back to that world, I meet the most beautiful, most delicate version of myself.

Întotdeauna m-au fascinat ochii, privirile și felul în care acestea pot spune povești fără cuvinte.

Personajele mele apar dintr-un amestec de imaginație, amintiri și lucruri pe care nici eu nu știu exact de unde le adun. Unele sunt stranii, altele inocente și fragile, întunecate, ironice sau misterioase. Le privesc uneori și am senzația că au secretele lor, la care nici măcar eu nu am acces.

Undeva între sunet și culoare se deschide o lume doar a mea, în care mă pierd și mă regăsesc deopotrivă. Timpul se dizolvă, granițele dispar, iar realitatea se sparge ca un balon de săpun.

Totul devine o formă de meditație, o plutire într-un spațiu fără contururi.

Muzica și pictura au fost mereu două feluri de a construi aceeași lume.

De fiecare dată când mă întorc în această lume, mă întâlnesc cu cea mai frumoasă și delicată versiune a mea.
